Hit Validation and Affinity Determination Service

Affinity determination is a crucial step in the development of antibodies and peptide target binders as well as in the analysis of peptide-protein interactions. After display or peptide microarray screenings, it is often recommended to validate the resulting peptide hits with an independent platform. An ideal tool is the Kd determination by fluorescence polarization, monitoring the binding of an antibody or target protein to the labeled peptide ligand.

Affinity determination can also be applied for the assessment of peptide antigens after epitope mappings to identify the strongest binding epitopes to the target antibody, or to develop even better neoepitopes as a result of epitope substitution scans.
