PEPperCHIP® Allergen Epitope Microarray

Profile IgE and IgG antibodies against multiple allergens in one assay.

The PEPperCHIP® Allergen Epitope Microarray covers 4,022 linear allergen epitopes based on 223 different allergens across 90 different organisms. All peptides are 15 amino acids long and printed in duplicates. Moreover, the microarray contains HA, polio, c-Myc and IgE positive control peptides.

The microarray can be used for epitope mapping, serum screening or biomarker discovery.

The PEPperCHIP® Allergen Epitope Microarray can be used for the following applications

•

Identification of unknown allergic diseases in patient sera

•

Correlation of immediate hypersensitivity with IgE antibody profiles

•

Comparison of IgE responses with e.g. IgG or IgA profiles

•

Discrimination of antibody responses between multiple allergic diseases

•

A cross-correlation of allergen specific IgE responses with disease pathogenesis

•

Multiplexed analysis of allergen specific IgE antibody responses in human sera

Advantages

•

Largest allergen epitope library on a single chip

•

Equivalent to more than 4,000 peptide ELISAs at once

•

Scientific background information available for each epitope with references to literature

•

Enables comparison of IgE responses with e.g. IgA and IgG profiles

•

Low sample consumption compared to nitrocellulose-assays

•

Most economical solution for high throughput peptide screening
