The PEPperCHIP® Neglected Tropical Diseases Peptide Microarray covers 3,390 different epitopes from databases and literature that are associated with Onchocerciasis (river blindness), Lymphatic filariasis (elephantiasis), Schistosomiasis (bilharzia), Trachoma, Helminthiases, Leprosy (Hansen’s disease), Leishmaniasis, Dracunculiasis (Guinea worm disease), Chagas disease and human African trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness). The epitopes are converted into 5,356 different peptides printed in duplicate (10,712 peptide spots). Moreover, the microarray contains additional HA and polio control peptides.
The microarray can be used for antibody biomarker discovery, patient monitoring, antibody characterization and high-throughput antibody profiling.
